About Us

2016 - 2017 Season

Entering it's 12th season in 2016 - 2017, Nor'Easters Baseball has established itself as one of the premier travel programs in New England. The program has expanded to 40 total teams. We feature 20 teams from the 9u to 17u age group in our home facility based in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Our softball program, also based in Tewksbury, now features 6 teams from the 12u to 18u age group. Our West program, based in Leominster, Massachusetts, now features 6 teams from the 12u to 16u age group.

Nor'Easters Baseball has also recently announced its merge with the New England Stampede who are based in Woburn, Massachusetts and will feature 9 teams from the 11u to 18u age groups at that facility.

Program Mission Statement

Our development is much like school curriculum, we feel specific age groups should KNOW certain skill sets/situations and be INTRODUCED to next level information. Our highly qualified coaches, majority of whom are college level coaches, run flexible skills classes from November through January focusing on the game's finer details. Over the course of the past 10 years, the program has won three national championships, 10 New England League Championships, and hundreds of local invitational tournaments.

Meet the Program Director:

Tim Daneau has developed Nor'Easters Baseball into one of the premier travel baseball programs in the New England Region. Daneau focuses on working to get each individual ready for next level baseball. He has built his program on loyalty, honesty, and family with each individual player's development as the main focus.

What We Offer:

  • Baseball specific skills classes: The Nor'Easters run once a week skills classes for its players. Skills are dictated by age group and what we deem fit for each group to work on. Classes are offered throughout the week and on a flexible schedule to accommodate our multi-sport athletes. Skills class curriculum was designed by current Division I assistant coach at UMass Lowell, Vin Redmond. Classes are run by Redmond, Kevin Barnaby (Head baseball coach at Fitchburg State University), Randy Ortiz (Assistant Coach at Fitchburg State University), Steve Peterson (Current pitcher in Milwaukee Brewers organization), Malcolm Cepeda (former professional player), and other current Nor'Easter coaches.
  • Team Practices: Teams practice together 1x/week from November-January and then transition to 2x/week practices for February and March.
  • Strength and Conditioning: Our Strength and Conditioning program separates us from other programs. Our strength, speed, agility, and explosion training program is broken into four different phases: Active Rest, General Fitness, Baseball Specific, and Performance Specific. Visit our Strength and Conditioning portion of the website by visiting: http://www.noreastersbaseball.com/strength
  • Highly Qualified Coaches: Each coach is hand picked based on their knowledge and experience. We do not have any volunteer or parent coached teams. Many of our coaches played college baseball, coach college baseball, coach high school baseball, and have years of experience in travel baseball.
