Coach Daneau is entering his 14th season with Nor’Easters baseball after founding the program in 2005. Over the course of the last 14 years, Daneau has transformed Nor’Easters Baseball into one of the most respected travel programs in New England.

Daneau has grown the program from one team in 2005 to now encompassing 39 teams over three locations and a softball program. Nor’Easters baseball has won 4 national championships, 16 New England League championships, and hundreds of local invitational tournaments. In addition to these, Daneau has helped many players move on to play baseball at four-year institutions after successful high school careers.

Daneau focuses on the development of his players, focusing on working to get each individual ready for next level baseball. He has built his program on loyalty, honest, and family with each individual player’s development as the main focus.

Coach Carter enters his 12th season with Nor’Easters Baseball. He has served as the General Manger over the course of the last 12 years before also being named the South Program Director at the beginning of the 2019 season. Carter played baseball at Northern Essex Community College before graduating for UMass Lowell. He has coached teams of all ages from 9u-16u over the course of his coaching career.

Coach Ortiz is entering his 4th full-time season with Nor’Easters baseball. Ortiz serves as the Director of Baseball Operations as well as assisting with player development. In 2018, he served as the head coach of the 16u National team.

Ortiz is currently entering his 2nd season as the Associate Head Coach at Fitchburg State University after being promoted to that position in 2018 after serving two years as an assistant coach. In 2015, Ortiz served as an assistant coach at Division II Assumption College following his graduation from Fitchburg State in 2013. He was a four-year member of the baseball team ranking amongst the team leaders in hits, batting average, and RBI during his senior campaign.

Coach Barnaby is entering his 5th season with Nor’Easters baseball. Barnaby serves as the Director of Player Development in addition to serving as the West Program Director.

He is also entering his 4th season as the head coach at Fitchburg State University after serving two years as an assistant coach at Division 1 Umass Lowell. Barnaby has also had stints as the head coach of the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs in the FCBL and Leominster American Legion. On the field, Barnaby played two years at Worcester State University helping the Lancers capture a MASCAC title.

Coach Peterson is entering his 2nd season as a full-time member of the Nor’Easters staff. Peterson is our lead pitching instructor and has served in that capacity over the course of the last seven seasons. He also serves as our Director of College Development.

Peterson played college baseball at Marist College and the University of Rhode Island before signing his first professional contract in 2011 with the Milwaukee Brewers. He was named a Southern League (AA) all-star in 2016 before getting the call up to Triple-A campaign.

Coach Pimental is entering his 3rd season with Nor’Easters baseball. Pimental serves as the Sports Information Director since the beginning of the 2018 season.

He is currently entering his 15th season coaching travel baseball. He is the former Head Baseball Coach at Bishop Stang High School and Parker Charter School. He has also served as an assistant coach at Coyle Cassidy and Wareham High School. Pimental heads up the Nor’Easters Cooperstown team where he has won the tournament championship four times.

Coach Magee is entering his 2nd season with Nor’Easters baseball. In 2018, Magee was an assistant coach for our 13u White team and has transitioned into one of our lead hitting and catching instructors. Magee is currently a member of the Northern Essex Community College baseball team. He has helped NECCO to a Junior College World Series berth by hitting a team best .453 with 7 homeruns while driving in 50 runs.

Coach Edmondsen is entering his 2nd season with Nor’Easters baseball. He assists all locations with player development within skills classes and team practices. Edmondsen is currently an assistant coach at Division 1 Umass Lowell. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2010 after a successful collegiate career at LeMoyne College.

Coach Gariepy is entering his 4th season with Nor’Easters baseball. In 2018, Gariepy served as the head coach for the Nor’Easters North 14u Silver team. He currently serves as a varsity assistant coach at Tewskbury High School since being named to that position in 2016. Coach Gariepy played at Central Catholic and attended Umass Lowell upon graduation.

Coach Carroll enters his 3rd season with Nor’Easters baseball. In 2018, he served as the head coach of the 13u West team. Carroll coached the Leominster Longhorns (AAU) for two seasons while also serving as an assistant coach for Baseball Unlimited in 2011. He was a four-year member of the Leominster High School baseball team helping lead them to a state championship in 1996. Upon graduation, he attended Merrimack College where he was a four-year member of the baseball team.

Coach Cutler is entering his 2ng season with Nor’Easters baseball. ICutler was promoted to Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator following the 2018 season at Assumption College (NCAA Division II) after serving as an assistant for the previous two seasons. Cutler attended Fitchburg State, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, while being a four-year member of the baseball team. In 2016, he was selected to the MASCAC All-Conference First-Team as well as being selected to the All-Worcester Area Second-Team for the second straight year. Brendan served as a three-year captain for the Falcons and during his sophomore campaign he received the Fitchburg State Male Athletic Leadership Award for his leadership on the baseball diamond.

Coach Fahey enters his 2nd season with Nor’Easters baseball. In 2018, he served as the head coach of the 11u Black team. Fahey concluded a successful pitching career at Franklin Pierce University (NCAA DII) in 2015 including being named 1st team all-conference during his senior campaign. He graduated with a degree in Communications. Upon graduation, Fahey inked a professional contract in the Pecos League with the Trindad Triggers. After his playing career concluded, he served as the pitching coach for the Brockton Rox in the FCBL before joining the Nor’Easters staff.

Coach Kirakios enters his 6th season with Nor’Easters baseball. Originally from Arlington, Coack K played two years’ varsity baseball followed by four year of baseball at UMass Boston in which he received all-conference honors during two season and all-New England honors in one. He was signed as a free agent by the Boston Red Sox and played one season with the Elmira Red Sox. In addition to his time with the Nor’Easters, Coach K has spent ten years coaching Arlington Little League where he was honored by the Touchdown club for commitment to the youth of Arlington.  He served as the head varsity baseball Coach at Landmark School, Beverly MA for three seasons as well as coached Mass Pride Baseball from 2007 to 2012 (7 years), age groups 12 through 18. From 2010 to present, 26 players have played professionally and one player has made it to the MLB.

Coach Normandie enters his 3rd season as a coach for the Nor’Easters baseball program. In 2018, Normandie was the head coach of the 12u White team. Normandie brings an extensive amount of experience in youth baseball having coached for the previous fifteen years’ players 9-17 years old. He is heavily involved with the Lowell Little League program assisting with little league and Babe

Coach Ray enters his 5th season with Nor’Easters baseball. In 2018, Ray served as an assistant coach for our 14u White team. Ray graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in education and now teaches at Billerica Memorial High School. James played for the Nor’Easters Baseball program from his 9u-14u years before playing four seasons at Littleton High School.

Coach Stoddard entered his 3rd season with Nor’Easters baseball. In 2018, Stoddard served as the head coach of the 12u Red team. Over the course of his coaching career he has served as an assistant varsity coach/head JV coach at Parker Charter High School as well as a head coach for Methuen East Little League. Stoddard played high school baseball at White Knoll High School in Lexington, South Carolina as well as playing for the Mid-Carolina Hawks AAU program.
