Coach Daneau is entering his 14th season with Nor’Easters baseball after founding the program in 2005. Over the course of the last 14 years, Daneau has transformed Nor’Easters Baseball into one of the most respected travel programs in New England.

Daneau has grown the program from one team in 2005 to now encompassing 39 teams over three locations and a softball program. Nor’Easters baseball has won 4 National Championships, 16 New England League Championships, 1 Cooperstown Championship, and hundreds of local invitational tournaments. In addition, Daneau has helped many players move on to play baseball at four-year institutions after successful high school careers.

Daneau focuses on the development of his players, with an emphasis on working to get each individual ready for baseball at the next level. He has built his program on loyalty, honest, and family with each individual player’s development as the main focus.

Coach Daneau is the Head Coach of our 10U Blue and 12U Blue teams.

Coach Carter enters his 12th season with Nor’Easters Baseball in 2019. He has served as the General Manger over the course of the last 12 years before being named the South Program Director at the beginning of the 2019 season. Carter played baseball at Northern Essex Community College before graduating from UMass Lowell. He has coached teams of all ages from 9u-16u over the course of his coaching career.

Coach Carter is the Head Coach of our 11U Blue and 15U New England teams.

Coach Ortiz is entering his 4th full-time season with Nor’Easters baseball. Ortiz serves as the Director of Baseball Operations as well as assisting with player development. In 2018, he served as the head coach of the 16U National team.

Ortiz is currently entering his 2nd season as the Associate Head Coach at Fitchburg State University after being promoted to that position in 2018 after serving two years as an assistant coach. In 2015, Ortiz served as an Assistant Coach at Division II Assumption College following his graduation from Fitchburg State in 2013. He was a four-year member of the baseball team ranking amongst the team leaders in hits, batting average, and RBI during his senior campaign.

Coach Ortiz is the Head Coach of the 15U National team.

Coach Barnaby is entering his 5th season with Nor’Easters baseball. Barnaby serves as the Director of Player Development in addition to serving as the West Program Director.

He is also entering his 4th season as the head coach at Fitchburg State University after serving two years as an assistant coach at Division 1 Umass Lowell. Barnaby has also had stints as the Head Coach of the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs in the FCBL and Leominster American Legion baseball team. On the field, Barnaby played two years at Worcester State University helping the Lancers capture a MASCAC title.

Coach Barnaby is the Head Coach of the 16U New England team.

Coach Peterson is entering his 2nd season as a full-time member of the Nor’Easters staff. Peterson is our lead pitching instructor and has served in that capacity over the course of the last seven seasons. He also serves as our Director of College Development.

Peterson played college baseball at Marist College and the University of Rhode Island before signing his first professional contract in 2011 with the Milwaukee Brewers. He was named a Southern League (AA) All-Star in 2016 before getting the call up to the Colorado Sky Sox (AAA).

Coach Peterson is an Assistant Coach for the 13U White team.

Coach JP is entering his 3rd season with Nor’Easters baseball. Pimental serves as the Sports Information Director since the beginning of the 2018 season.

He is currently entering his 15th season coaching travel baseball. He is the former Head Baseball Coach at Bishop Stang HS and Parker Charter School. He has also served as an Assistant Coach at Coyle-Cassidy HS and Wareham HS. He also heads up the Nor’Easters Cooperstown team where his teams have won the tournament championship four times.

Coach JP is the Head Coach of the 9U Blue and 16U Black teams. He will also be taking two 12U teams to Cooperstown in July.

Coach Magee is entering his 3rd season with Nor’Easters Baseball. In 2018, Magee was an assistant coach for our 13u White team and has transitioned into one of our lead hitting and catching instructors. He was also an Assistant Coach on our Championship-winning Cooperstown team in 2017.

Magee is currently a member of the Northern Essex Community College baseball team. In 2018, Riley led NECC to a Junior College World Series berth by hitting a team best .453 with 7 Homeruns and 50 RBI’s. He was named a 2nd Team All American and First Team All-Region selection, and won multiple awards including the Triple Crown, Gold Glove, and Regional Player of the Year.

Coach Riley is an Assistant Coach for our 14U White team.

Coach Edmondsen is entering his 2nd season with Nor’Easters baseball. He assists at all locations with player development within skills classes and team practices. Edmondsen is currently an assistant coach at Division 1 Umass Lowell. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2010 after a successful collegiate career at LeMoyne College.

Coach Gariepy is entering his 4th season with Nor’Easters baseball. He currently serves as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Tewskbury High School since being named to the position in 2016. Coach Gariepy played at Central Catholic HS and attended UMass Lowell upon graduation. He is also a full-time Hitting/Pitching Instructor at both our Tewksbury and Woburn locations.

Coach Gariepy is the Head Coach of our 12U White and 15U Red teams.

Coach Beauchesne enters his 2nd season with Nor’Easters Baseball in 2019. He attended and played baseball Lowell Catholic HS before enjoying a successful playing career at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA). His began his coaching career at Pelham HS (NH) in 2013 and he has also spent time with Hudson American Legion Baseball.

Coach Beauchesne is the Head Coach of our 14U Black team.

Coach Beaulieu is one of the longest tenured coaches in the Nor’Easters program. Over the years, his teams have racked up an astounding number of accomplishments, including 4 National Championships and 3 NEEBL Division 1 Championships. He is also an Assistant Varsity coach at Dracut High School.

Coach Beaulieu is the Head Coach of our 13U Prospect team.

Coach Carroll enters his 3rd season with Nor’Easters Baseball. Carroll ‘s coaching background includes 2 seasons with the Leominster Longhorns (AAU) and a season as an assistant coach for Baseball Unlimited in 2011. He was a 4-year member of the Leominster High School baseball team, helping lead them to a State Championship in 1996. Upon graduation, he attended Merrimack College where he was a four-year member of the baseball team.

Coach Carroll is the Head Coach of our 14U West team.

Coach Comeau enters his 1st year with the Nor’Easters in 2019. He played 4 years of college baseball at New England College. After graduation from NEC, he went on to continue his playing career in various summer leagues such as the Yawkee League, Boston Park League, MABL, and the Cranberry League. He began his coaching career with TJO Sports in 2010 before moving onto coach the JV teams at Foxboro HS (2017) and Franklin HS (2018). 

Coach Comeau is the Head Coach of our 16U White team and an Assistant Coach for our 10U Black team.

Coach Cutler is entering his 2nd season with Nor’Easters Baseball. Cutler was promoted to Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator following the 2018 season at DIvision 2 Assumption College after serving as an assistant for the previous two seasons. Cutler attended Fitchburg State, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, while being a four-year member of the baseball team. In 2016, he was selected to the MASCAC All-Conference First-Team, as well as being selected to the All-Worcester Area Second-Team for the second straight year. Brendan served as a three-year captain for the Falcons and during his sophomore campaign, he received the Fitchburg State Male Athletic Leadership Award for his leadership on the baseball diamond.

Coach Cutler is the Head Coach for the 17U New England team.

Coach Dearth enters his first season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. Ben was a 4-year member of the baseball team at Randolph Union HS (VT) before continuing his education at Plymouth State University, where he spent 2 seasons on the fall team. He also spent time an Assistant Coach at Dracut HS and is now an Assistant Varsity Coach at Billerica HS.

Coach Dion begins his 6th season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. He was a 3-year member of the Varsity baseball team at Central Catholic HS before attending St. Joe’s College (ME), where he would have a successful playing career. Coach Dion is also a well respected basketball and baseball official in the community. 

Coach Dion is the Head Coach of the 14U White team.

Coach Erickson enters his 2nd season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. He was a standout catcher at Leominster HS, and after a year off, resumed his catching duties at Division 1 UMass Lowell for 3 seasons. After graduating, Brice played one season for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs of the FCBL. In 2018, he led 11U West to an overall record of 29-3 en route to winning a NEEBL league championship,

Coach Erickson is the Head Coach of the 12U West team.

Coach Fahey enters his 2nd season with Nor’Easters baseball. Fahey concluded a successful pitching career at Division 2 Franklin Pierce University in 2015. His accolades include being a 1st Team All-Conference selection during his senior campaign. He graduated with a degree in Communications and promptly inked a professional contract in the with the Trindad Triggers of the Pecos League. After his playing career concluded, he served as the pitching coach for the Brockton Rox in the Futures League before joining the Nor’Easters coaching staff.

Paul is the Head Coach of the 13U Black team.

Coach Figueroa begins his 6th season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. For the past several years, he has served as the Assistant Coach to Tim Beaulieu on many highly successful teams, including two National Championship winners in 2014 and 2016. Coach “Figgy” has been involved in the game of baseball for 19 years as a member of Centerville, Pawtucketville, and Callery Park little leagues.

Coach Kirakios enters his 6th season with Nor’Easters baseball. Originally from Arlington, Coack K played two years of Varsity baseball followed by 4 years of baseball at UMass Boston. During his time at UMB, he received All-Conference honors twice, along with an All-New England selection in another. He was signed as a free agent by the Boston Red Sox and played one season with Elmira. Coach K spent 10 years coaching in the Arlington Little League where he was honored by the Touchdown Club for commitment to the city’s youth. He was also the Varsity Head Coach at the Landmark School in Beverly, MA for 3 seasons. Before joining the Nor’Easters, Coach K spent 7 years with Mass Pride.

From 2010 to the present, he’s had 26 former players play professionally and 1 of his players is currently a Starting Pitcher for the Atlanta Braves.

Coach K is the Head Coach for our 15U Black team.

Coach McAlary enters his 2nd season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. He was a 4-year member of the baseball program at East Longmeadow HS and now serves an a Varsity Assistant at Leominster HS. 

Coach McAlary is the Head Coach of our 10U West and 15U West teams.

Coach Normandie enters his 3rd season with the Nor’Easters. He brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent the past 15 years coaching players from the ages of 9-17 years old. He is heavily involved with the Callery Park Little League (Lowell) program and also assists in the Babe Ruth division. Jay coached for 1 season with the Diamond Dawgs and also ran the Lowell HS fall program for 3 years. 

Coach Normandie is the Head Coach of the 12U Silver team.

Coach Ray enters his 5th season with Nor’Easters baseball. He was spent the past few seasons as a valuable member of Chris Dion’s coaching staff. James graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Education and now teaches at Billerica Memorial High School. Coach Ray is a former Nor’Easter alumni, having played in the program from 9U-14U before moving on to play 4 seasons at Littleton High School.

Coach Ray is the Head Coach of our 13U Blue team.

Coach Stoddard enters his 3rd season with Nor’Easters baseball.  Stoddard played high school baseball at White Knoll HS in Lexington, South Carolina. He also played travel ball for the Mid-Carolina Hawks AAU program. Over the course of his coaching career, he has served as an Assistant Varsity Coach/Head JV Coach at Parker Charter School along with being a head coach for Methuen East Little League. 

Coach Stoddard is the Head Coach of our 13U Red team.

Coach Vowles enters his 4th season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. Over the years, he has spent time with St. Bernard’s HS, Leominster HS, CMASS Bay State Games, North County American Legion, and local Babe Ruth leagues. He’s also worked numerous camps on the East Coast and is available for private lessons at At-Bats in Boxboro and The Hub in Leominster.

Coach Walsh is a well-known and respected veteran on the diamonds of New England. Back in his playing days at North Andover HS, he accumulated many accolades including being a Boston Globe All-Scholastic and Cape Ann League MVP, along with being inducted into the NAHS Hall of Fame. After HS, Coach Walsh played for 4 years at Eckerd College in Florida before returning home and beginning his coaching career. As a Head Coach with the New England Firebirds, his teams would go on to win a pair of New England Championships before joining us in 2013. 

Coach Walsh is the Head Coach for our 14U Prospect team.

“Coach Johnny” begins his Head Coaching career in 2019 after serving as an assistant for the 10U Black team in 2018. John enjoyed a very successful high school career, winning back-to-back State Championships as the starting shortstop for Bishop Hendricken in 2014 and 2015. He was also a 3-time selection to the ALL-USA Rhode Island team. Coach Willete signed a letter of intent to play college baseball at Division 1 University of Rhode Island before an injury sidelined his playing career. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his players and we’re excited to have him as a member of our program.  

Coach Willette is the Head Coach of our 11U Black team and will also serve in the role of Assistant Coach for both Cooperstown team in 2019.

Coach Williams is entering his 3rd season with the Nor’Easters in 2019. Dakota was a 3-year Varsity starter at Hudson HS (NH), where he was a 2-time Conference All-Star. He went on to continue his baseball career at Daniel Webster College, where he currently still ranks in the Top 20 in most major hitting categories. He is also a full-time instructor at our Woburn facility, where he specializes in Hitting.
